Membership in the ASO is voluntary, and thus every effort is taken to maximize the value of our members time.  Members are should expect the following time commitments:

  1. Weekly rehearsal – Wednesday’s from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Aurora Central Library.
  2. Dress rehearsal – Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM on a concert performance weekend at the performance venue.
  3. Masterworks Concert Performances – Most concerts have two (2) performances; a Saturday evening 7:30 – 9:30 PM & Sunday Manatee from 3:00 to 5:00 PM
  4. Young People’s Concerts are afternoon concerts in early February with one (1) in Brighton, CO at 3:00 – 4:30 PM & two (2) on Sunday in Aurora at the Stanley Marketplace 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM & 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  5. Other concerts such as chambers works concerts, and special engagement performance are scheduled with consultation of the ensemble.
