What is Chamber Music?
Chamber Music gets its name from the “chambers” of one’s house, where small groups or families would get together to play music.
What makes chamber music different from a regular concert is the intimate nature – you can sit up close, hear each individual musician, and see how they communicate and play together without words.
And since this concert is orchestra-member led, you know that each ensemble is playing the music that they are most passionate about and have chosen to play for you.
What your neighbors are saying about our concerts:
“We always feel relaxed, happy, and more connected after a concert. Every performance we have attended as season ticket holders has been excellent.”
“It was a very enjoyable event, even for someone who does not understand music very well. Two hours and twenty dollars so well spent.”
