The Aurora Symphony is now planning auditions for the upcoming 2010-2011 concert season. Auditions will be held throughout the season.
Participants must perform two contrasting solo-type pieces, contrast in style or tempo. Scales may be required at the discretion of the Music Director. Total performance time is 5 to 7 minutes. All instruments welcome, especially oboe, percussion and strings!

Auditions are also held throughout the season on Wednesday evenings during regular rehearsals. Even if you’re not sure you’re up to it yet, come by a rehearsal and get a feel for our group. You’re welcome to sit in your respective section during a rehearsal (with conductor approval) so you can really see what playing with the ASO would be like.
