We want you to play with us!
Auditions are scheduled regularly throughout the season.

You can do it, and we’d like you to do your performing with us. New members are required to audition before performing with the orchestra during the new season.

Requirements:

• 2 contrasting solo-type pieces (contrasting in style and tempo)
• Scales may be required at the discretion of the Music Director.
• Total performance time of 5-7 minutes

Auditions are also held throughout the season on Wednesday evenings during regular rehearsals. Even if you’re not sure you’re up to it yet, come by a rehearsal and get a feel for our group. You’re welcome to sit in your respective section during a rehearsal (with conductor approval) so you can really see what playing with the ASO would be like.
