Just be sure to leave any weapons (costume or otherwise) at home. \n– Do I need to know a lot about classical music to have a good time? New to classical concerts? Don’t worry! Our conductor provides brief\, friendly introductions to the concert and to each piece. Arrive early to attend his free pre-concert talk for an extra-special time. \n– How long is the concert? Approximately 2 hours including one 20-minute intermission. \n– Is there parking? Plenty of free parking is available. \n– When should we arrive? Most people arrive 30-40 minutes before the concert to get great seats and enjoy our conductor’s pre-concert talk (30 minutes before the performance). \n– Are the concessions? There are no concessions or alcohol at the concert\, but there are restaurants nearby for before or after. Water fountains are available. \n– Are concerts good for kids? The ASO prides itself on being family friendly! While we understand that young kids are full of energy\, we ask that all audience members be respectful of others’ experiences and that children are not permitted to run around the auditorium before\, during\, or after the performance. \nFeatured ArtistsFrangel Lopez-Ceseña\,\nViolin\nViolinist Frangel López Ceseña is a soloist\, concertmaster\, and chamber musician who has won a national solo competition in Mexico (2014) and a concerto competition in the U.S. (2017). Frangel has taken masterclasses with Ryu Goto\, Paul Huang\, and others. Frangel studied at the Superior School of Music in Mexico (2017) holds an M.M. from CSU (2018) and a D.M.A. from the University of Western Ontario\, Canada (2022)\, where he specialized in the agential analysis of music. He is a violinist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico and teaches at La Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. \nJeremy D. Cuebas\,\nConductor and Artistic Director\nJeremy D. Cuebas is a conductor and teacher based in Colorado. He is the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Aurora Symphony Orchestra and the founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Crescendo Classical Marketing. His work on and off the podium is focused on connecting with audiences and helping arts organizations make a bigger difference in their community.
